Kothare Vision Pvt. Ltd & Group Of Companies

Founded in 1985 by actor-director Mahesh Kothare as Jenma Films International, we evolved into Kothare Vision Pvt. Ltd. (KVPL) in 2008. KVPL is a trailblazer in Marathi cinema and television.

From the first Marathi blockbuster Dhumdhadaka to pioneering 3D regional cinema with Zapatlela-2, and earning national acclaim with Paani (co-produced with Priyanka Chopra Jonas’s Purple Pebble Pictures), our legacy is built on storytelling excellence. With a 90% success rate across projects, KVPL is a trusted name in both commercial and critically acclaimed content.

In 2023, we launched Storyteller’s Nook Pvt. Ltd., a creative wing nurturing emerging voices and untold stories. Our latest series Manvat Murders (Sony LIV), received strong audience appreciation on OTT. We’re currently developing content for Netflix, JioHotstar, Sony LIV, and Zee5, while forging global partnerships to bring Indian stories to the world.
